The Fae Hunter Audiobook ROCKS!

I was going to go on a rant this morning. I was going to talk about how another author belittled books like mine because I keep the content clean and safe for your young teens.

But I'm not going to do that.

Because we've got enough bad stuff going on, don't we? We've got scary illnesses and stressed economies and personal frustrations.

So instead, I'm going to focus on gratitude today. I'm going to be grateful for my sweet boys and my beloved husband, for great books and a warm cup of coffee, for friends near and far, for books about magic and dragons and for LIFE!

Oh, and also for my new audiobook narrated by Caitlin Kelly. And no, this isn't a sales pitch. But seriously, she surpassed my expectations. I couldn't stop laughing when I was listening to her proofs with the interactions between Scouvrel and Allie.

I know people accuse this series of being dark - and it is a little (it's also better for the 15+ crowd even though it doesn't have sex or swearing in it because it can get a bit intense). But only because the world is dark and we all have to fight against that to find hope and be heroes in our own lives. Amel did that. Seleska did that. Tor learned to do that (although some of you thought he should have learned faster! ;) ) and now Allie is doing it, too.  All my books are about little people in big worlds who face the darkness and don't back down, who spread light in dark place, who embrace hope when all hope seems gone. Those are the people I want to know and write about. And I hope that they're the people that you want to read about.

Anyways, click on the picture up above and go listen to the sample of Caitlin's narration. She's amazing and she did a masterful job!

And then click here because we have a name to vote on! I received nearly 400 suggested names (you guys rock!) and of those names, I chose nine for you to vote on. It was very hard to narrow it down that far! And now the burden is on you - can you help me narrow it down the rest of the way? Choose as many names as you like, but choose wisely! We're going to be reading this name a LOT!
