Fae Captive is here!

Sometimes you have to do something that terrifies you.
I did that something last week.
I'm terrified of small planes because a lot of them make runs around here and so we hear about crashes and accidents fairly regularly. But you guys, I've been writing books about flying on the backs of dragons for years and I've never even flown in a small plane! So when the opportunity came, I went for it.
We flew for an hour up to a lake and then made passes back and forth over it, even turning so tightly that all I could see out the window beside me were the tops of the trees directly below. And boy did I get sick! it was absolutely miserable.
And yet, I'm so glad I did it.
Partly, because now as I write more books about bird magic and dragons and other things that fly I should have a greater understanding of how that would feel. But also just because I did something I was terrified to do and came out on the other side.
Just like Allie in Fae Captive, who finds herself in an impossible situation, caged by her enemy. That book has just released and you can read early reviews for it here.
I'm so pleased to share it with you!
Sarah
P.S. I've delayed our vote for the main character name to next week since I wanted to be sure to get the word out about Fae Captive.
